I feel like film photography is its own beautiful complex being. At times I don't know why anyone would want to just look through a digital lense, for the richness and personal investment that comes with working with film cameras and the darkroom is like no other. But, when difficult contrasts or focuses start to test my patience, I am definately happy that I can resort to my sony or nikon and edit in photoshop to produce an image in less than an hour. Nevertheless, the film that I have collected are some of my favorite pieces, and I am very lucky to have learned this unique skill in school.
